Pattaya Music Festival 2026: Free Beach Concerts Every Weekend in March
A Month of Music on the Beach
Every March, the seaside city of Pattaya turns its beaches into open-air concert stages. The Pattaya Music Festival 2026 runs over four consecutive weekends throughout the month, hopping between different locations along the coast. Admission is completely free, making it one of the best-value events in Thailand's festival calendar.
Full Schedule
The festival moves to a new venue each weekend:
- March 6โ7 โ Central Pattaya Beach, the traditional heart of the city's nightlife strip
- March 13โ14 โ Jomtien Beach, the quieter, more family-friendly stretch south of town
- March 20โ21 โ Samae Beach on Koh Larn, a short ferry ride offshore
- March 27โ28 โ Lan Pho Naklua Park, at the northern end of Pattaya
Gates open at 5:00 PM each evening. Performances run into the late hours against the backdrop of the Gulf of Thailand.
Who Is Playing?
The lineup features a mix of popular Thai pop, rock and hip-hop acts. Headline artists in 2026 include Da Endorphine, one of Thailand's best-known vocalists, and the T-Pop girl group 4EVE. Each weekend brings a different set of performers, so returning visitors get a fresh show every time.
While the acts are predominantly Thai-language, the energy is universal. The beach setting, the crowd atmosphere and the sheer variety of genres make it enjoyable even if you do not understand every lyric.
Week 3 Highlight: Koh Larn
The third weekend took the festival offshore to Samae Beach on Koh Larn. Massive crowds packed the white-sand beach for star-studded performances under the stars. Getting there requires a 30-minute ferry from Bali Hai Pier in South Pattaya โ ferries run frequently and cost 30 THB one way. If you are staying late, arrange return transport in advance as the last scheduled ferry departs before the music ends. Speedboat services are available after dark at a higher price.
Practical Tips
Getting around: There are no road closures during the festival. The city provides complimentary shuttle buses between venues and key transport hubs. Songthaews (shared pickup trucks) also run their normal routes along Beach Road and Second Road for 10 THB per ride.
Food and drink: Street food vendors and pop-up bars line the festival areas. Expect standard Pattaya prices โ 50 to 100 THB for a plate of food, 60 to 120 THB for a beer. For more dining options, browse the Pattaya food scene.
Accommodation: Hotels in Pattaya and Jomtien fill up on festival weekends. Book at least a week ahead if you want to stay within walking distance of the stages. See our Pattaya hotel recommendations for a curated list.
Weather: March is dry season in Pattaya, so rain is unlikely. Temperatures hover around 32 to 34 degrees Celsius. Check the Pattaya weather guide for a full month-by-month breakdown, and bring sunscreen if you arrive early and water to stay hydrated.
Is It Worth the Trip?
If you are already in Bangkok, Pattaya is only a 90-minute drive or bus ride away. A free, multi-stage music festival on the beach is hard to beat โ even more so when you combine it with Pattaya's seafood restaurants, rooftop bars and island day trips.
